Graced With Opportunity

During the daily grind, dare yourself to return to the present moment and silence the doubt.

“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.”

— Denis Waitley

Every moment we are graced with opportunity. Some opportunities are visible, while others are not. Some appear in the form of praise, victory, clarity, and joy, while others arrive as defeats, obstacles, and confusion. No matter how these moments are presented, each experience you face becomes an invaluable learning experience to grow and explore the outer depths of who you are. It becomes a moment to venture closer to discovering or rediscovering your most authentic self. You were born to be real, not perfect. Life is not about perfection. Life is about progression.

Change can feel uncomfortable, weird, awkward, time-consuming, repetitive, and painful at times. We can become resistant to change and find all the excuses possible not to embark wholeheartedly on transformation from within. During the daily grind, dare yourself to return to the present moment and silence the doubt.

As you read these declarations, realize one of the most significant challenges in life is discovering who you are. The second is being at peace and honoring what you find.

  • You can live in a space of gratitude even when you feel life is challenging you.

  • A key element of success is failing, provided we learn from it.

  • Focus on how you talk to yourself about yourself.

  • Understand the difference between pleasing others and helping others.

  • Do not go an entire lifetime without having a real conversation with yourself and making peace with your past.

  • Every person you meet in your life knows something you do not. Therefore you can learn from everyone.

  • Keep people in your life whose sole purpose is humbling you and refining your craft.

  • Carve a niche for yourself while enriching the lives of others.

  • Have critics that keep you accountable and true to your vision.

  • The best relationships find their roots in mutual love, care, and respect with the space to agree and disagree.

  • The quality of our mind reveals itself in our words, behavior, thinking, beliefs, values, and decisions.

  • Time is your most valuable currency. Invest it wisely and earnestly, by not wasting your life living someone else's story.

Never stop trusting the process on your self-discovery journey. Trust the discomfort. Trust your brilliance. Trust your voice. Trust your intuition. Celebrate your story while always being kind and unconditionally loving and accepting of who you are and where you are!
