Do Your Habits Match Your Dreams?

No matter the obstacles, naysayers, darkness, mistakes, and challenges along the way, never give up on yourself or your dreams.

“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”

— Harriet Tubman

Despite the fact, we might not know each other. We share a common bond. We are all dreamers. Much like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we have a dream. We are never too old to dream. However, many times on our journey from childhood to adulthood, we begin to suppress our dreams.

Today is an opportunity to dream of things that never were and ask why not. It’s only by dreaming that you will ever discover who you are, what you want, and what you can do. When you crystallize your dreams while nurturing your curiosity, you can begin to take daily actionable steps to turn those dreams into realities.

Realize, a dream without a plan and a deadline are nothing more than a wish. When we intentionally focus on the execution and planning of our goals, we give ourselves the best opportunity to cultivate our dreams. Figure out what you have to do to make your dream happen and then just do it without excuses. It is never too late to become the person you have always dreamed of being.

No matter the obstacles, naysayers, darkness, mistakes, and challenges along the way, never give up on yourself or your dreams. Falling down is a part of life; getting back up is living. And inside every obstacle, are hidden opportunities. Do something every day to manifest your dreams. Those moments of being uncomfortable are positioning and equipping you with the tools and mindsets needed to grow, to discover, to thrive, and to sustain excellence.

There is no quick fix microwave transformation or overnight success for sustainable personal growth to transpire. Each stage of our development, we are reborn. You have to actively show up every day for your dreams, yourself and those you lead with purpose even on days you do not feel your best. A dream will always seem impossible until it is done. As renowned spiritual teacher and international bestselling author Don Miguel Ruiz, once said, “Every human is an artist. The dream of your life is to make beautiful art.”

This moment is a once in a lifetime opportunity to cultivate that beautiful art!
