  • It is not what you know, it is what you can get your team to “Believe In.”

  • Asking your team where they want to be five years from now, might be the most important question you will ever ask them.

  • Leave no conflicts unresolved.

  • Those you lead need to hear how valuable they are to the team.

  • Your voice is a weapon. You must learn how to use your voice effectively and efficiently.

  • The challenge is to get your team to believe in their roles. To master their role while becoming a valuable asset and star in their role.

  • Your team leaders have to be willing to help you build a genuine connection and camaraderie amongst each other.

  • People are in constant evolution. The person you meet today will be different tomorrow.

  • A large part of coaching and leadership comes down to solving the team’s problems.

  • Do not let a day go by when you do not ask individual team members one or two probing questions that stimulate growth and discovery.

  • The relationship between the team and leader is more important today than at any time in the history.

  • Some team members will require you to sell them every day. It is all about capturing the hearts, minds, and commitment of those you lead.

  • Few of us have the same motives, at the same time, or with the same priority. This puts a lot of coaches and their teams in a potential conflict every day.
