Sunday Thinking
Ask questions that are so big that only your life can answer them.
The weekly Sunday Thinking newsletter is quick-hit content that aims to provide a booster shot to your thought process as you end and start your week.
"One of the biggest lessons in life is being able to distinguish between the stories other people have created about you and the truth you come to know of yourself...You begin to reject the scripts that other people wrote for you when you recognize that those words and actions do not align with your vision for your life."
I. Change Requires a Choice
Gentle reminders for the week ahead as we embark on our self-leadership and self-discovery journeys:
Don’t settle for the default settings in life.
Take it one day at a time and trust the journey.
Do what you do, not for an applause, but because it’s what’s right.
Sometimes the changes we don’t want are the changes we need to grow.
Give yourself credit for your strength and resilience every step of the way.

II. Giving Up and Letting Go
There is a big difference between giving up and letting go:
Giving up means selling yourself short. It means allowing fear and struggle to limit your opportunities and keep you stuck. Letting go means freeing yourself from something that is no longer serving you.
Giving up reduces your life. Letting go expands it.
Giving up is imprisoning. Letting go is liberation.
Giving up is self-defeat. Letting go is self-care.
"The purpose of letting go isn’t so you replace it with something new. It’s so you can experience the peace that exists in the space you created." ― Jamila Reddy
III. Make Your Teammates Better
The best leaders bring out the best in other people. They are constantly anticipating the needs of others, they are constantly raising the bar and holding others accountable to it.
Great teammates look for opportunities to help and serve others because they realize it's not about them.
Great leaders care more about making their teammates look good than being in the spotlight.
The best part is, when you can make people around you look better, it makes you look good.
Everyone wants a teammate like that. Everyone wants to follow a leader like that.

IV. What We’re Excited About
Unexpected “Hidden Gem” Voted Investment of the Year
Finding the best opportunities outside the traditional markets is what the experts at HiddenWealth focus on 24/7. They recently completed an analysis of the seven most-talked-about alternative assets… and the results may surprise you.
With leading banks like Goldman Sachs reporting that a US recession could cause the S&P 500 to freefall an additional 14% by year-end, it doesn’t take a Harvard genius to know investors today may need to do something different.
That’s why HiddenWealth says one alternative – that's probably totally different from anything you’ve seen before – stands out.
Even better, to access this investment opportunity, you don’t need millions of dollars. You just need a smartphone, and curiosity to access a platform that has averaged a net return of 29%*. For a limited time, you can check out the pick with this exclusive link.
*HiddenWealth is a publication sponsored by Masterworks.io and its affiliates. Net est. returns for all realized and unrealized offerings 15.3%, from inception through 6 /30/22. See important Regulation A disclosures.
V. Question
What do I have to let go of to be a more impactful and authentic leader?
VII. This Week, I Will
Prioritize ease and peace.
Release what no longer aligns.
Be intentional with leading myself.
Realize worrying doesn’t change the outcome.
Don’t let fear of outcome stop me from starting.
The Last Words…
"Quiet the voice telling you to do more and be more, and trust that in this moment, who you are, where you are at, and what you are doing is enough. You will get to where you need to be in your own time. Until then, breathe. Breathe and be patient with yourself and your process. You are doing the best you can to cope and survive amid your struggles, and that’s all you can ask of yourself. It’s enough. You are enough."
