Sunday Thinking
“Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!"
The weekly Sunday Thinking newsletter is quick-hit content that aims to provide a booster shot to your thought process as you end and start your week.
"We are like computers, and our beliefs are the software with which we're programmed. Often our beliefs are programmed into us without our knowledge by our culture, community, religion, and family. Even though we don't choose those subconscious programs, they run our lives. They control our decisions, perspectives, feelings, and interactions, so they determine our destiny. What we believe, we become. There is nothing more important than unearthing what we really believe to be true about ourselves and our world."
I. The Mark of Great Leadership
Narcissistic leaders are threatened by talent. They want to be the smartest person in the room.
Humble leaders are drawn to talent. They surround themselves with people who makae them smarter.
Great leaders grow talent. They strive to make everyone in the room smarter.

II. The Greatest Antidote to Fear
What to do when faced with fear or adversity?
Many people experience a lot of fear in taking that first step in a new activity, habit, work, dream or goal or taking continued steps when things get really dark or hard.
Action is the key to both living a life of your dreams and to beating fear.
People give you hate ― you thank them and keep building.
People give you nothing ― you thank them and keep building.
People give you congratulations ― you thank them and keep building.
People give you love or support ― you thank them and maybe give them a hug and...You keep building!
Mistakes will happen, there is nothing more important than the combination of taking radical ownership of the mistakes and lessons and outcome, and then continuing to take action forward.
The most important thing is to keep going, to keep building. Keep taking action. The greatest antidote to fear is action.

III. Rest Without Guilt
If you need to rest, rest without guilt.
There's so much going on in the world all of the time. Sometimes everything feels too heavy.
Your body will fight rest because you remember all of the people you feel are being more productive than you.
But sometimes the most productive thing you can do is rest. Learning to take care of yourself will only make you more productive in the future.

The Last Words…
"In a society that has taught us to favor being cool over being connected, promise yourself that you will always choose to be the person who cares. To be the person who does not desensitize themself, to be the person who slams their heart into the people who excite it without hesitation, without worrying if it is too much or too intense or too loud. Trust me when I say that you will never scare off the souls that will fully understand you, and nurture you, and celebrate you, by being open to this world, by being honest, by being the kind of person who loves deeply. Do not water yourself down, do not silence the parts of yourself that leap towards the beauty you see in another human being. Be all that you are. Be all that you are."
