Sunday Thinking ― 12.22.24
"When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time."
The weekly Sunday Thinking newsletter is quick-hit content that aims to provide a booster shot to your thought process as you end and start your week.
"One day you will understand why your timing was perfect and why things had to happen exactly the way they did. To protect you, to guide you, and to redirect you to where you were always meant to be. Trust the process of your path, evolution and growth―it's all divine timing."

I. Coming to Terms
There are 3 things that you need to come to terms with in life:
If they wanted to, they would.
No response is a response.
Not everybody has the same values, goals, or heart that you do.
Once you come to terms with those three things, life becomes a lot easier.

II. The Things Worth Living For
All I know is that time passes by so fast. And you might as well spend it doing what you love. Being brave. Risking your heart. Going all in on the things that make you feel alive.
You might as well spend it falling in love with people and places and new experiences. With yourself. With this soft, strong, stubborn heart that beats inside your chest.
And if there's an uncharted path that calls to you—take it. If there's a pull in your heart guiding you forward — follow it. If there's a vision that you see every time you close your eyes—honor it. Trust it. Believe in it.
Listen to the soft voice within that whispers: this is real and this is right and this is the way. Feel every ounce of fear and step forward anyway. Because some things―they're worth it. The really important things—the things that you can feel deep down in your bones—they're worth risking it all for. They're worth fighting for. They're worth living for.

III. Messy, Unfinished, and Enough
You are a human being, not a project.
You were never meant to live in a constant state of self-improvement or self-repair. There's this pressure loud and unrelenting that tells you that every moment must be productive, every thought must lead to growth, and every day must bring you closer to becoming "better."
But sometimes, what you need most isn't to heal, grow, or fix it's to simply be.
You don't have to chase healing every moment to be worthy. You don't have to fix every broken piece of your family's history to have purpose. You are allowed to pause. To breathe. To feel the sun on your face without questioning if it's helping you grow.
You are allowed to take up space just as you are, messy and unfinished, in a moment that requires nothing from you but your presence.
Let this be your reminder: you are not a project to be completed, nor are you a tool to fix every problem that has ever existed in your lineage.
You are a soul, a spirit, a human being. So be, sometimes beloved. Just be.

The Last Words…
"Please, don't live your life by society's expectations. Don't let yourself down because the world makes you feel behind. Where you are in life is good enough. No matter your age, you are here today, so there is time. There is time to quit the job you hate and find one you enjoy. There is time to go back to college if that's what you want to do. There is time to fall in love with the right person. There is time to have a family of your own no matter what that looks like. There is time to learn how to stop losing yourself trying to please others. There is time for growth and for change. There is time for healing and for understanding As long as you are breathing there is time. Don't rush time. Let it flow how it needs to. Whatever you are rushing or feel like the people around you may be rushing—slow it all down. Don't compare your life to the life of any other. Your life is yours to create."
