I. Just Do Right

If you teach, you have to live your teaching.

  • You can't say, "You do not as I do, but do as I say." No, no!

  • "You know what's right. Just do right."

The truth is ― right may not be expedient. It may not be profitable; but it will satisfy your soul.

II. Change Expectation For Appreciation

  • Stop being driven by rewards.

  • Stop being driven by outcome.

  • Stop being driven by "If I get this, I’m going to do this." Just work.

If you don't get what you thought you were going to get, show up and still go to work.

  • Because along the process, what's more important?

  • What you acquire or who you become?

  • A lot of people think what they acquire is the thing that makes them who they are.

No, it's who you become in the process of chasing what you want to acquire. Change expectation for appreciation.

III. Don’t Put Your Joy On Hold

Don’t worry. Everything you want, it'll come.

  • You'll win some and lose some. But you'll appreciate life with every rising sun.

  • You can stop the endless run. Live in the moment and be happy now. You have a lot to be thankful for.

  • There's no need for the internal war.

Stop being so hard on yourself. You can keep your goals, keep striving to be better, but don't put your happiness on hold.
