Sunday Thinking
“Rather than waste your time being stressed over making the right decision, make the decision right.”
The weekly Sunday Thinking newsletter is quick-hit content that aims to provide a booster shot to your thought process as you end and start your week.
“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
I. Chasing Excellence Without Certainty
It’s like when Kobe said:
I was chasing perfection and excellence, even though I knew I will probably never catch it.
But just the fact I was willing to chase it, I would defeat most of my opponents.
Because most of my opponents would never chase something that didn’t have any guarantees attached to it.

VI. This Week, I Will
Learn, unlearn, and relearn.
Prioritize and embrace silence.
Declutter my space, mind, and time.
Not just think and talk about it, I'll do it.
Replace "I should've known" with "now I know better."
The Last Words…
"And what I've learned throughout my life is that the right path is probably the one that scares me. It's probably the one I keep eyeing from a distance. Wondering what would happen if I actually took that first terrifying step. What I've learned is that the more I try to ignore it, the stronger its presence. And eventually, I won't be able to avoid it. I'll have to make a choice. And my mind will come up with a million logical reasons why I shouldn't take it. It's too uncertain. Too unknown. Too risky. But my heart—all it needs is one. One reason to finally nudge me forward. One reason that matters more than any other. Because this is right. And what I've learned is that the right path is probably the one that has the potential to break my heart in ways that feel devastating to imagine. But if I trust myself and trust what I feel deep inside-this intangible feeling that can't be explained or understood, this deep inner knowing that says this is for me—then I'll be okay. And what I've learned throughout my life is that despite the fear that causes my hands to shake and my knees to tremble as I finally take that first step—it's worth it. And whether this leads exactly where I'm hoping or goes somewhere I can't imagine right now, I know that in the end, I'll be glad I came."
