“When you can look a thing dead in the eye, acknowledge that it exists, call it exactly what it is, and decide what role it will take in your life then, my Beloved, you have taken the first step toward your freedom.”
— Iyanla Vanzant, Trust: Mastering the Four Essential Trusts
I. Cultivating Self-Care
Love Yourself.
Don’t be a people pleaser & Trust your instincts.
Never give up on your dreams & Be kind to yourself.
Don’t be afraid to say No & Don’t be afraid to say Yes.
If it feels wrong, don’t do it & Say exactly what you mean.
Let go of what you can’t control & Stay away from drama and negativity.
II. Problem Solving Strategy
Define & Discover
Dream & Design
Deliver & Debrief
“We live in a fast-changing world, and producing more of the same knowledge and skills will not suffice to address the challenges of the future.” — Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)

III. Letting Go of Our Myths
Busy = Important
Important = Rich
Rich = Successful
Successful = Happy
“What I realized was that I would never get to happiness as long as I held on to the idea that as soon as I do this or get that or reach this benchmark I’ll become happy.” —Mo Gawdat
IV. Question
How can you provide healthy challenges for both your mind and body on a daily basis?
V. This Week I Will
Take mindful stretch breaks.
Challenge a negative thought pattern.
Write a list of actions that make me feel healthy.
Spend time looking up at the sky and notice how it feels.
Stop comparing myself to others and embrace my journey.
Step outside your comfort zone while looking at the world around you with awakened eyes, a curious mind, and a heart filled with love.
The Last Words…
“People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances with our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.”
— Joseph Campbell, The Power of Myth
