Sunday Thinking
"Joy comes to us in ordinary moments. We risk missing out when we get too busy chasing down the extraordinary."
The weekly Sunday Thinking newsletter is quick-hit content that aims to provide a booster shot to your thought process as you end and start your week.
"There is great power in honoring the reality of our current emotions, not feeding them or making them worse, but simply recognizing that this is what has arisen in this present moment and that this will also change. When we create this space within ourselves, a space of calmness that is undisturbed by the storm, the storm tends to pass more quickly. Practicing such profound honesty within ourselves helps in all facets of internal and external life—there is no real freedom without honesty, and without honesty, there can be no peace of mind."
I. Unbreakable Grit
What makes us what we are? And what we're gonna be?
It's our core foundation: GRIT
And what does it mean? Really, in a nutshell, I think it means this:
We'll go a little bit longer
We'll push a little harder
We'll think a little deeper
And a little sharper
It means we're unbreakable.

II. Vulnerability is Your Superpower
Your ability to exercise vulnerability is not a weakness:
Sensitivity is a gift, awareness is a blessing, being in tune with your emotions is one of the highest frequencies.
There is nothing more potent than energy that isn’t bound by shame or opinion but amplified by honesty.

III. Think Different
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently.
They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.
Because they change things. They push the human race forward.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

IV. Question
What do I want joy to look like in my life this season?
V. This Week, I Will
Stay true to my values.
Find joy in the little things.
Be kind to myself and others.
Take time to rest and recharge.
Take care of my physical and mental health.
The Last Words…
"Life has a way of throwing challenges at us that can seem impossible to get through, and it's during these times that our inner strength is truly tested. I want you to know that you are not alone in holding what you're going through. You're not weak for needing a break or for putting things down. Take your time as you heal. There is no rush to get to the next chapter. I know you wish you could make time move faster so you don't have to feel how you feel right now but hold steady. The baby steps help you honor your process. It's not always about what's next. Sometimes, what matters most is respecting the now and being present with it."
