The weekly Sunday Thinking newsletter is quick-hit content that aims to provide a booster shot to your thought process as you end and start your week.

I. The Small Crossings
We imagine change as dramatic: a resignation letter, a wedding, a diagnosis. But most transformations begin less dramatically
The moment you stop trying to impress everyone.
The moment you forgive someone who never apologized.
The moment you realize peace is more valuable than being right.
Lives change gradually, then suddenly.

II. Becoming Who You Already Are
Much of adulthood is subtraction, not necessarily becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you were before the world told you who to be, before achievement became identity, before productivity became self-worth, and before fear disguised itself as practicality.
Growing up can be strange because you spend years acquiring, then spend years letting go.
You let go of certainty.
You let go of comparison.
You let go of the stories you told yourself about what success was supposed to look like.
Somewhere in that process, you discover that maturity is so often having the courage to remove layers from life.

III. The People Who Save Us
Most of us can name the people who have saved us, whether it’s a teacher, a friend, a grandparent, or someone else who changed our life without realizing it.
Maybe they listened longer than necessary. Maybe they believed before evidence existed. Or maybe they offered hope when our imagination could not.
There are people whose fingerprints never leave us.
Try to become one of them.

V. Question
Who became part of your story before they understood the role they were playing?
…
V . This Week, I Will…
Reach out to someone who changed my life.
Notice one threshold I am afraid to cross.
Let go of one expectation that no longer serves me.
Become, in some small way, the person I once needed.
Treat one ordinary moment as if I will someday miss it.
