“I trust so much in the power of the heart and the soul; I know that the answer to what we need to do next is in our own hearts. All we have to do is listen, then take that one step further and trust what we hear. We will be taught what we need to learn."

― Melody Beattie, Journey to the Heart

I. The Lasting Impact of Respect

Power is fleeting. Respect is lasting.

  • Reputation is not a function of wealth, fancy titles, or prestigious memberships.

  • It's a matter of what we contribute and how we treat others.

Admiration is earned through actions, not positions. The best way to be valued is to add value.

II. This Time Is Precious

In the 3 months that are left in 2024 don't hold back.

  • Spend more time with friends who get you.

  • Put your energy into your best habits.

  • Treat your body like a temple.

  • Don't stay quiet about the love you feel in your heart.

  • Spread kindness.

  • Act on your goals.

This time is precious, live in a way that your future self will thank you. Source: Yung Pueblo, The Way Forward

III. The Courage to Choose You

Within you lives a great vision for your life, quieted over time by the world.

By the end of this year, I hope you're able to say — this was the year I changed my life.

  • The year I found the boldest, bravest kind of courage.

  • The year I stopped dancing around the perimeter of who I always wanted to be.

I hope you're able to say — this was the year I began, even if I did not know how I would finish.

  • The year I radically trusted, and released.

  • The year I learned to prioritize how things feel over how they look.

  • The year I chose me.

I hope you get to the end of this year able to say — this was the year I started living. This was the year I started becoming the person I was always meant to be. It is once again time to listen. It is once again time to live.

V. Question

In what ways have you grown after releasing what no longer aligns?

VI. This Week, I Will

  1. Love myself through the times I stumble.

  2. Love myself through every stage of growth.

  3. Add value and enrich the lives of those I lead.

  4. Love myself through transition and discomfort.

  5. Remember, my soul knows the way home. Listen to it. Follow it.

The Last Words…

"You know how hard it is to be a wildflower in a world that only sees beauty in roses? Learning to grow freely in who you are without human intervention is a task that very few master. You must believe that you’re beautiful just the way you are, regardless of the atmosphere that surrounds you. When pain, rejection, disappointment, and fear threaten to pluck your courage, confidence, hope and peace you must find the willpower to resist fading into darkness and stand tall. You must trust that your space and place in this world has value even if no one else sees it right now but you. You know how hard it is to be you in a world that only sees beauty in roses? Dare to be the wildflower."
