"Letting go is hard but holding on when you're losing yourself is harder. Release what doesn't serve you."

“Progress isn't about perfection. Some days we reach higher potential, and on other days, we miss the mark completely. Grace reminds us that either way we are still enough and full of higher purpose, potential and divine beauty, in the storm.”

— Lalah Delia, Wellness Educator

I. That One Day

There are 7 days in the week and one day isn't one of them. But let's make today that one day:

  • That one day, you said you were going to get it done.

  • That one day, you're going to do extra.

  • That one day, you're going to stop beating yourself up over fixable mistakes.

  • That one day, you're going to reconnect with someone you lost touch with.

  • That one day, you're going to compliment someone that least expects it.

  • That one day, you stand up for yourself.

  • That one day, you reach your potential.

Until you commit to today being that "one day," that "one day" will never have its day with you.

II. Honoring Our Boundaries

Setting boundaries is a way to honor yourself.

  • "No" is protecting your energy.

  • "No" is setting boundaries.

  • "No" is honesty.

Never feel guilty for saying no. Protecting your time, energy, and emotional bandwidth is an act of self-care we all deserve.

III. Moving Beyond Comfort

Each day we have the unique opportunity to dare greatly and choose which zone we are going to live, love, and lead from:

  • Comfort Zone: Feel safe and in control.

  • Fear Zone: Lack of self-confidence, find excuses, and affected by others' opinions.

  • Learning Zone: Deal with challenges and problems, acquire new skills, and extend your comfort zone.

  • Growth Zone: Seek and find purpose, live your dreams, set new goals, and conquer objectives.

What do I have planned for today that energizes me?

VI. This Week I Will

  2. Value my time.

  3. Remain teachable.

  4. Manage expectations.

  5. Focus on progress over perfection.

The Last Words…

“When you consciously slow down and deepen your breath, you are letting your body know that it is okay to trust the present moment.”
