Sunday Thinking
"If it's out of your hands, it deserves freedom from your mind too."
The weekly Sunday Thinking newsletter is quick-hit content that aims to provide a booster shot to your thought process as you end and start your week.
"Life is to be experienced, not fought against, run from, or engaged halfheartedly. Though we may wish to make changes in the future, to be conscious is to be with an experience as it’s unfolding, rather than thinking about how we would like to change it. Taking charge of our life so that we alter the quality of our experiences in the future comes after an experience."

I. Let Your Life Speak
Before you tell your life what you intend to do with it...
Listen for what it intends to do with you.
Before you tell your life what truths and values you have decided to live up to...
Let your life tell you what truths you embody, what values you represent.

II. Kobe’s Mamba Mentality
Passion ― "Do what you love."
Obsession ― "Get better every single day.”
Relentlessness ― "Outwork your potential."
Fearlessness ― "Put yourself out there and go for it, no excuses.”
Resilience ― "Enjoy the road, especially when it's a hard one."
“The mindset isn’t about seeking a result—it’s more about the process of getting to that result. It’s about the journey and the approach. It’s a way of life. I do think that it’s important, in all endeavors, to have that mentality.”

III. Choosing Your Hard
Everything is hard in some way, but you get to decide what you're willing to hurt for, what you're willing to try for, what you're willing to work for.
You get to choose your hard.
...But everything comes with a cost.
When you say "yes" to one thing, you say "no" to another.
And that's where the matter of your free will, your value system, your greater vision, must come into place.
You have to decide what is going to matter to you, and what you are willing to fight for.
Then you have to decide to let go of the rest.

IV. Question
How have I been complicit in creating the conditions I say I don't want?

V. This Week, I Will
Live, laugh and love.
Listen without reacting.
Only commit to what is doable.
Communicate calmy and honestly.
Be mindful of self-sabotagining behaviors.
The Last Words…
“For anyone who needs this today: Every lesson learned challenges our spirit and inspires the deepest corners of our relationships with ourselves and others. Though fatigue and frustration will sometimes whisper yell in our ears, we must keep in mind that healing is not the antagonist in our story. It is a compass guiding us even when the journey feels endless, slippery, and dark.”
