“My life changed when I became responsible for inventing the life I wanted.”

I. Clarity + Connection

The biggest shift in your life happens when you go inward. You step in and observe all that you find with acceptance...

  • Heal yourself, but don't rush.

  • Help people, but have boundaries.

  • Love others, but don't let them harm you.

  • Love yourself, but don't become egotistical.

  • Stay informed, but don't overwhelm yourself.

  • Embrace change, but keep pursuing your goals.

II. Leading Through Transformation

The core of transformational leadership consists of the following four dimensions:

  1. Individualized Consideration: The degree to which the leader attends to each follower’s needs, acts as a mentor or coach to the follower, and listens to the follower’s concerns and needs.

  2. Intellectual Stimulation: Such leaders encourage their followers to be innovative and creative. The leaders focus on the “what” in problems and do not focus on the blaming part of it.

  3. Inspirational Motivation: The degree to which the leader articulates a vision that is appealing and inspiring to followers. Purpose and meaning provide the energy that drives a group forward.

  4. Idealized Influence: The degree to which the leader acts as a role model for their followers. The foundation of transformational leadership is the promotion of consistent vision, mission, and a set of values to the members.

III. Breathe. Heal. Grow

Gentle reminders on starting within and showing up for life:

  • We are divinely led. Today is a new day to trust our path.

  • It’s okay not to be okay. We were born to be real, not perfect.

  • Joy and inner peace are our birthrights — no more settling for what is not elevating our spirit.

  • The power lies within to forgive + let go as we are the authors of our healing and personal transformation.

  • We can commit to growing and becoming our best selves, even if those around us don’t understand and participate.

  • Playing small and shrinking, so others don’t feel uncomfortable is a disservice to our sacred gift of life.

IV. What We’re Eating

The Daily Coach is not just focused on a healthy mind but a healthy body as well, and that’s why we recommend Proper Good to help kick start your next healthy lunch or dinner.

Some of us here at The Daily Coach have been enjoying Proper Good for lunch to eat healthier and get ready for summer, so we can’t recommend their tasty zero-prep meals enough! Especially for those leaders who are on the go and so focused on performing and executing on a daily basis that sometimes healthy lunch decisions take a back seat.

Proper Good is ready to eat in just 90-seconds... plus there's no fridge needed so enjoy at home or on-the-go at work, just tear the top off and pop in the microwave.

V. Question

What brings you deep joy?

VI. This Week I Will

  1. Honor my boundaries.

  2. Show up authentically.

  3. Ask instead of assuming.

  4. Stay committed to my word.

  5. Respect people’s differences.

The Last Words…

“Be around people who have the values you want, not the things you want.”
