“Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself and know that everything in this life has a purpose. There are no mistakes, no coincidences. All events are blessings given to us to learn from.”

― Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, Psychiatrist

I. Designing Your Future Self

The quality of connection we have with our own Future Self determines the quality of our life, behavior, and wiser decisions we make in the here and now:

  • Without hope in your future, your present loses meaning.

  • A reactive narrative about your past stunts your future.

  • Being unaware of your environment creates a random evolution.

  • Being disconnected to your Future Self leads to myopic decisions.

  • Urgent battles and small goals keep you stuck.

  • Not being in the arena is failing by default.

  • Success is often the catalyst for failure.

II. Disconnect to Reconnect

Gentle reminders as we venture onward and give ourselves compassion that it is okay not to have it all figured out on this journey:

  • Right now, simply just breathe.

  • May we choose to journey gracefully in faith over fear.

  • Everything lies within to transform obstacles into opportunities and wounds into wisdom.

  • We can get so consumed with yesterday and worried about tomorrow that we undervalue the power of today.

III. Wake Up Grateful

5 ways we can leverage the power of gratitude to improve our overall mental wellness:

  1. Life is a Gift. When you greet each moment gratefully, you are always receiving. This principle helps us cultivate a quality of awakeness.

  2. Everything is Surprise. When you open to wonder, opportunities abound. This principle brings about greater awareness.

  3. The Ordinary is Extraordinary. When you take nothing for granted, life is abundant. This principle helps us to cultivate alertness and allows for different ways of seeing what already is.

  4. Appreciation is Generative. When you tend what you value, what you value thrives. This principle strengthens our capacity for, and commitment to, attentiveness.

  5. Love is transformative. When you embrace the great fullness of life, your heart overflows. Connected with this principle, we are unconditionally connected with our aliveness.

The Last Words…

“It does not matter how long you are spending on the earth, how much money you have gathered or how much attention you have received. It is the amount of positive vibration you have radiated in life that matters.”
